Terms and Conditions – Shift Happens Event

1. General Information

By purchasing a ticket to and attending the “Shift Happens” event (“the Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These rules are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and responsible experience for all attendees, participants, event staff, and the surrounding community.

2. Code of Conduct

To maintain a respectful and safe environment, all attendees must comply with the following rules:

• No burnouts, donuts, launch control use, unnecessary revving, speeding, or any other reckless driving behavior that may disturb the local community or endanger others.

• Attendees must follow all instructions provided by event staff and comply with any additional on-site safety guidelines.

• Any behavior deemed dangerous, reckless, disruptive, or inappropriate by event organizers may result in immediate removal from the Event without refund.

• Attendees are responsible for their own conduct and must respect the venue, other attendees, event staff, and the surrounding area.

3. Liability Disclaimer

Attendance and participation in the Event are entirely at your own risk.

• “Shift Happens” and its organizers accept no responsibility or liability for personal injury, vehicle damage, loss, theft, or damage to property, or any other incidents that may occur during or in connection with the Event.

• By attending, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own safety and for any damage or harm caused by your actions.

• Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

4. Ticket Purchase and Agreement

• Purchasing a ticket constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

• All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless the Event is canceled by the organizers.

• The ticket holder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless “Shift Happens,” its organizers, staff, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from their attendance or participation.

5. Event Modifications and Cancellation

• Event details, including date, time, location, schedule, and activities, are subject to change.

• Reasonable efforts will be made to notify ticket holders of any significant changes in advance.

• In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, refunds or ticket transfers may be offered at the sole discretion of the organizers.

6. Photography and Media

• Photography and video recording will take place throughout the Event.

• These images and recordings may be used by “Shift Happens” and its partners for promotional, marketing, and media purposes, including social media, websites, and press materials.

• By attending the Event, you acknowledge and consent to the use of your image or likeness without compensation or additional approval.

• If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, it is your responsibility to avoid areas where media capture is actively occurring.

7. Communications and Marketing Consent

• By purchasing a ticket, you consent to receive essential communications from “Shift Happens” related to the Event, including updates, logistical information, and important announcements.

• During the ticket purchase process, attendees will be given the option to opt in to receive marketing communications from “Shift Happens” and selected third-party partners or sponsors.

• Email addresses will only be shared with third parties where explicit opt-in consent has been provided.

• Attendees may withdraw consent or unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe links provided in such communications.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
